Mental Health First Aid Responder Training

Looking after each other is more important than ever in tough seasons.
This Standard Mental Health First Aid workshop gives adults the skills, knowledge, and confidence to recognise the signs of mental health problems and respond to a friend, family member, co-worker or neighbour who may be experiencing a challenge or crisis.
This 2 day training equips adults with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to recognise, understand and respond to a friend, family member, co-worker, or another adult, experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis.
Adults who complete the course become Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAiders), equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to provide someone with mental health information and support when it matters most.
Please note this session will be run over two Tuesdays (attendance to both sessions is required):
This opportunity is FREE to community residing within both the Coorong or Tatiara Council areas. Other participants are welcome to register for a cost of $25.00 per person.
Tuesday 28 October, 9:30am - 5:00pm
Tuesday 4th November, 9:30am - 5:00pm
Sessions will be fully catered.
