STANDARD MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID (MHFA) REFRESHER COURSE

WHAT IS THE STANDARD MHFA REFRESHER COURSE?
The Standard MHFA Refresher courses allow people who have previously completed the 12 hour Standard Mental Health First Aid course to refresh
their knowledge and skills.

For people who are Accredited MHFAiders, refresher courses offer an opportunity to extend their accreditation for a further three years.

The content of the refresher course is based on guidelines developed through the expert consensus of people with lived experience of mental health problems and professionals.

Tuesday 13th July 2021

9.30am to 3.30pm.

The training is split into two sessions with a 1 hour break in between (9.30-12.00pm & 1.00-3.30pm AEST)

Who can attend this course?

If you have previously completed the 12 Hour Standard Mental Health First Aid course.

What will I need for the course?

Your copy of the Edition 4 Standard Mental Health First Aid Manual (if you no longer have this, a new manual can be sent to you at an additional cost)
A quiet location to join the course where you have privacy
A computer or tablet with a video and microphone as you are required to have these on during the training (mandatory by MHFA)
