Mental Health First Aid Training
Event description
The Standard Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course equips adults with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to recognise, understand and respond to a friend, family member, co-worker or another adult experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis.
This FREE 2-day course will be facilitated by Recovery Camp licensed MHFA Instructor Christopher Patterson at iAccelerate on 22 & 29 June from 9.15am-4.30pm.
Learn practical first aid skills such as:
• Recognise common mental health problems
• Provide initial help using a practical, evidence-based Action Plan
• Seek appropriate professional help, and
• Respond in a crisis situation
Catering will not be provided. You must attend both sessions- A non attendance will incur a $50 fee for each date.
