1 in 5 Australian adults experience a common mental illness each year. Would you know how to support a friend, family member, co-worker, or even a stranger in need? Join us for our Standard Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) Course, where you'll gain essential skills to:
- Recognise the signs of common mental health challenges
- Provide initial help using an evidence-based Action Plan
- Guide someone toward professional support
- Respond confidently in crisis situations
Course Details:
 When: Saturday 22 & Sunday 23 March, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
 Where: Kanyini Collective- 7 Garnet Street Cooroy
Cost: $250 per personÂ
Led by a licensed MHFA Australia instructor, this 12-hour accredited training held over 2 days is recognised by Suicide Prevention Australia as a safe and effective suicide prevention program. Plus, you’ll receive a Mental Health First Aid Manual to keep!
 Accreditation Available! Complete a short assessment at the end to become an Accredited MHFAider, valid for 3 years.
 What to Bring: Just your lunch and drinks! We provide tea, coffee, water, and biscuits. An IGA supermarket is next door if you need anything.This course is not a therapy or support group—it’s an educational program designed to empower you with life-saving skills.
