Mental Health Month Art Auction

Mental Health Month is kicking off at headspace Bankstown with a vibrant community celebration, the Mental Health Month Art Auction, proudly hosted by headspace Bankstown's Youth Reference Group.

Young people aged 12–25 from across our community have created powerful artworks exploring connection, wellbeing, culture, identity, and creativity. These pieces will be showcased and “auctioned” in a fun, youth‑friendly format using Headspace Bucks, our playful currency that guests can use to bid on their favourite artworks.

There are two age categories (12–15 and 16–25) and a total of $1000 worth of prizes for the young artists whose pieces receive the highest number of bids.

This event is all about celebrating young people’s creativity, amplifying youth voices, and bringing our community together to support mental health and wellbeing. There will be free food and special activities run by our young people on the day!
