Mongrels Men is a community-based charity dedicated to helping improve men's mental health and suicide prevention.

We're inviting the Tweed Shire community to attend our FREE Mental Health Response Workshop.

What you'll learn:

Understand common mental health illnesses and disorders
Identify warning signs and symptoms of poor mental health
Develop techniques for discussing mental health issues and suicide
Support themselves and others experiencing poor mental health

Accreditation and Certification:

The workshop provides a certification from:

Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) for CPD points
Fitness Australia for Continuing Education Credits (CEC)
Australian Counselling Association (ACA) for Ongoing Professional Development

Catering: A light lunch and refreshments will be provided. Bring a Water Bottle.
Restrictions; This workshop is designed for adults over 18 years old.

Mongrels Men Health and Wellbeing Limited (Mongrels Men) is a community-based charity on a mission to prevent, reduce and control the occurrence and impact of suicide and mental health illnesses and disorders impacting Australian men.

Our programs are non-clinical, prevention focused and designed to intervene early to help promote, reduce, and control the occurrence and impact of mental health illnesses, disorders, and suicide in men.

We get blokes off the couch, outdoors, moving, communicating and connecting with other men in their local communities so they have somewhere to go, something to do, someone to talk to & support when needed.

The Mongrels Men charity is 100% volunteer based, so the money we raise goes directly back into local community-focused programs.

We run more than 850+ programs across 15 NSW & QLD community locations for ~7,000 men every year.
