To celebrate the release of their long-awaited debut album WORRIED SICK, Meres are taking their existential snack-rock south for a night of fuzzed-out catharsis at The Grand Poobah.

Fuzzed-out and feeling everything, Meres’ debut album WORRIED SICK is a loud, vulnerable, and deeply spiralling body of work. It’s about climate dread, burnout, weird love, and trying to stay upright when everything's on fire. Their live show is cathartic, strange, and likely to punch you in the feelings.

Joining them on the night:

HUNKS – Just three (3) Tassie spunkrats making the music that absolutely no-one asked for xoxo. Unpredictable, loud, deeply unserious, and honestly kind of iconic.

Slaughterhäus Surf Cult – Blending the raw attack of classic punk with the introspective dissonance of post-punk, Slaughterhaus deliver a sound loved by (allegedly) everyone on earth. Think West Coast garage chaos meets Victorian grit, with riffs sharp enough to draw blood.
