A Day of Water, Connection & Deep Relaxation

This full-day immersion, an invitation to slow down, soften and enjoy our weightless body supported in warm water.

Introduction to Aqua-Body-Works ~a gentle form of bodywork performed in heated pool, combining supported floating, flowing movement, stretches, breath and mindful touch.

Throughout the day, you’ll learn some foundations of giving and receiving an Aqua-Body-Works session. Developing greater awareness of touch, trust, presence and connection.

The warm water creates a unique environment where the body can release tension and the nervous system can settle. You’ll have the opportunity to experience both sides of the practice ~ learning how to offer nurturing support to another AND allowing yourself to fully receive.

Alongside the therapeutic work, we’ll bring in the playfulness of the mermaid. You’ll explore swimming with a mermaid tail, graceful underwater movement and the sensory experience of loosening the spine with undulating movements. 🧜‍♀️✨

No previous aqua bodywork or mermaid experience required.

Whether you’re completely new to Aqua-Body-Works, curious about water-based healing, or have always dreamed of becoming a mermaid... this immersion is an invitation to slow down, soften, play and reconnect with the magic of water.

Your facilitators will be Masta & Anua.
Masta developed Aqua-Body-Works over 33 years while she got certified as a WaterDance-, WATSU-, Healing Dance-, Remedial massage Therapist and in 2002 a WATSU trainer. She studied Cranio Sacral Therapy, meditation, Aikido, Contact Improvisation, Somatic Experiencing Therapy, Neurosculping and I. F. S. (Internal Family System). She is passionate about combining all of this in her Somatic, playful workshops.

Anua has been guiding women around the world in connecting to their mermaid essence both spiritually and quite literally with mermaid tails & ocean sailing retreats. She has a background in nursing & now weaves western wisdom with eastern practices to create spaces for holistic healing & authentic expression. Her workshops and retreats consist of lots of PLAY, somatic movement, dance, singing, empowerment, and connecting deeper to oneself & the natural world.
