Shine Bright/Adventure Awaits or Unicorn/Dragon Travel Pillow Sewing Workshop

Sew fun for kids! is a place to learn all about sewing while making fun projects that you can take home and treasure.

In this fun school holiday workshop you will learn how to make a wall banner to hang at home or a travel pillow.

This workshop is suitable for boys and girls aged 7 and up and suitable for both beginners and experienced sewists!

You will learn how to:

- sew straight lines

- sew curved lines

- use decorative stitches

- make tassels and pom poms.

For the wall banner, we will have two versions to choose from:

- Shine Bright - a rainbow themed banner (as pictured)

- Adventure Awaits - a outdoor themed banner with a mountain scene in blues and greens.

For the travel pillow, we will have two versions to choose from:

- Unicorn

- Dragon

Each child will have a sewing machine to learn at and all fabrics and accessories are included. 

You will need to bring along a packed morning tea and lunch. Please do not include any food items that contain nuts or traces of nuts.

Sew fun for kids! accepts Service NSW Creative Kids vouchers.

If you would like to use a voucher, select the Creative Kids voucher ticket and make a payment of $25. You will also be required to enter:

- the voucher number

- your child's name

- your child's date of birth.

All of these details are required for me to register your voucher.

If you have a gift voucher, please select the gift voucher ticket. A minimum of 4 children are required for the workshop to go ahead. There will be a maximum of 8 students at the workshop.

This workshop runs from 9am to 12pm at 4/31 Terminus St, Castle Hill. Our studio has an internal toilet so children do not need to leave the studio during the day.

Please note, we are unable to provide a refund if a cancellation is made less than two weeks prior to the workshop as we will have purchased all of the fabrics and accessories for your child. If you are unable to attend we are very happy to provide you with the fabric kit and pattern instructions for you to pick up from the studio.
