Merri-bek Local Food Forum

Interested in Merri-bek food projects and initiatives and networking with like-minded passionate local food leaders?

The Merri-bek Local Food Forum will be held at the beautiful Reynard Street Neighbourhood House and Community Garden. This is a great opportunity to see first-hand an inspiring example of a Neighbourhood House local food program which includes food growing / horticulture, composting, community kitchen / food enterprises and more!

We will share the various ways groups and individuals can participate / provide input to the next Food System Strategy 2024-27, including at the forum itself. There will also be an update and next steps on the Community Food Hub project. 

Light refreshments will be provided by the Reynard Street Neighbourhood House community kitchen.

This event is proudly presented by Merri-bek City Council on the unceded land of the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people of the Kulin nation. Merri-bek pays our respect to Elders past, present and emerging and acknowledges that sovereignty was never ceded.
