MESHA MindRight for Partners program

Event description

Join Veterans SA and program facilitators MESHA for the upcoming MindRight for Partners program.

The MindRight program was originally designed to connect the veteran community as they navigate post-service life and provide the essential tools needed to steer through the transition process, as well as understanding how skills gained in the defence force can be applied to civilian roles.

In an Australian-first, Veterans SA has engaged MESHA to adapt the MindRight program to suit the unique  personal and professional needs of Defence and veteran partners. This is the first time that this partner-specific program has been offered to the community.

About the program:

MindRight is a two-day workshop focused on making choices that work for you. You’ll consider your goals, values and strengths as you explore your individual identity and the skills you have gained in your life so far. MindRight will open the door to renewed purpose as you consider a new role, career direction or stage in life. It also explores self-care and how to support yourself as you navigate challenges along the way.

Whether you’re changing role, recently relocated, just starting out in the workforce or have changed career as a result of your partner’s service, the tailored-for-partners MindRight program will help you to navigate change both personally and professionally.

This program will be held at

The Salvation Army, Gawler
17 Edith St, Gawler East

Meals and refreshments will be provided throughout the day.

For added peace-of-mind, on-site childcare will be provided during the MindRight for Partners workshops.

The MindRight for Partners program is run over two short days on two consecutive Mondays.

  • Monday 5 August 2024 - 10am - 2:30pm
  • Monday 12 August 2024 - 10am - 2:30pm

By registering for the program, you are committing to attend both sessions.

The program is delivered by lived-experience facilitators and will empower you to set yourself up for success as you explore new opportunities in the workplace or in your local community.

Places are limited to 12 participants per session, however we have enabled a waitlist and may add further sessions later in the year.

For those requiring childcare please select this option in the registration form. A separate form will be sent to parents to fill in as part of the childcare on-boarding process.
