Hypnotic sound journey by Solange

Creative facilitation by BlaqueSheep Art

6–9pm | Solange continues on sound

Mesmeric Art Club is an ongoing series of sound-led social art sessions.

The hypnotic soundtrack is the guide.

For three hours, SolAnge will lead the flow, weaving prog, ambient, ritual, melodic and hypnotic techno into a sonic journey designed to draw you into rhythm, repetition and creative focus.

For 2.0, we’re making mandalas on vinyl.

Choose six colours, take a vinyl record and start somewhere. A dot. A line. A circle. Then follow it.

There’s no prescribed finished result. The process unfolds with the soundtrack, one mark leading into the next.

And you’re not doing it alone.

Mesmeric Art Club is about the particular energy that happens when a group of people sits down to create together. Conversation comes and goes. People drop into deep focus. Ideas move around the table. Everyone hears the same soundtrack, yet every piece that emerges is completely different.

You can arrive with friends or come by yourself. There’s something to do with your hands from the moment you sit down, which makes connection happen without forcing it.

The music guides. The art responds.

At 5pm, we’ll photograph the finished pieces for the growing Mesmeric Art Club archive, then your vinyl is yours to take home.

From 6–9pm, Solange continues on sound, so you can stay on, have a drink and let the afternoon roll into the evening.

$40 includes your vinyl record, all materials, the full three-hour sound-led art session and your finished piece to take home.

No previous art experience needed.
