Transformation rarely announces itself. It begins quietly—in the moments we soften, let go, and trust what is unfolding.

Like the caterpillar within the chrysalis, there are seasons when change happens beneath the surface, long before it can be seen. Winter reminds us that not all growth is visible. Sometimes the deepest transformations begin in the unseen.

Metamorphosis is an invitation to step across that sacred threshold.

Through ecstatic dance we move beyond the thinking mind and into the wisdom of the body. Each breath, each beat and every step becomes an expression of what is alive within us. There is nothing to learn, nothing to perform, nowhere to arrive—only an invitation to move honestly with whatever arises.

Theva will weave a rich musical journey through tribal rhythms, organic grooves, ritual percussion, deep bass, world melodies and expansive soundscapes—guiding us from grounded connection into wild expression before gently returning us to spaciousness, reflection and integration.

As the seasons turn, change is happening all around us—and within us. This is a chance to meet it with openness, courage and curiosity, allowing the body to release what has completed its cycle and make space for what is quietly emerging.

Waged - $30 + BF

Concession - $25 + BF

$1-100 Pay it forward - Add a donation to help those in need of financial assistance get to a dance. Dancing Dhevas will match your donation.

Cancellation & Event Guidelines

Refunds or ticket transfers to another event can be requested up to 24 hours before the event. After this time, tickets may be transferred to a friend by the ticket holder.

This is an alcohol-free, drug-free, and smoke-free event. Management reserves the right to refuse entry to ensure the safety and integrity of the space.

We invite full presence on the dance floor — no mobile phones, photography, or Shazam. Please arrive ready to be here, just as others are.

This is a barefoot, non-verbal dance space. No shoes and no talking on the dance floor. We gather because we love to dance, to listen, and to move together.

This event is not suitable for kids, (18+)

First Time at Dancing Dhevas?

Dancing Dhevas is a free-form conscious dance practice that invites you to move as only you can — with authenticity, curiosity, and freedom. It’s an opportunity to let go of judgement and discover a dance that is uniquely yours, one that can’t be copied or performed.

Conscious dance is an active meditation. As each person drops into their own movement, the room shifts — energy builds, barriers soften, and natural ecstasy emerges. There’s no right or wrong way to dance, only presence.

Theva began Dancing Dhevas in 2010 when there was a dire need for self expression and release on the dance floor. It has become a sanctuary for many, a place of solitude yet full of connection, and a place where we can return to the self.

Come as you are, or bring a friend. We share the floor with like-minded souls, moving together and celebrating life in all its complexity, moment by moment.

What to know:

• Bring a water bottle

• We dance barefoot to ground and connect with the body on a clean floor.

• No talking on the dance floor — if you need to speak, please step outside the hall.
