Methven Walkway
Event description
Feel free to bring your dogs, kids (if they can keep up!) and friends with you for this walk along part of the Methven Walkway.
We'll meet just past the Ōpuke Hot pools, by the trees/ entrance to the Enchanted forest and set off at 10.30am for our (approx 1.5 hour) walk. We start walking along a sheltered forested track, where there are numerous fairy doors and painted rocks to discover. Then it opens out as we follow the RDR then a creek into town, along some residential streets and back to the start.
Optional - enjoy a cuppa or some lunch together at a local cafe after we finish.
Organised by Mid Canterbury TimeBank, anyone is welcome to meet us and enjoy the walk together!
