Add to calendar

Thu, 20 Nov, 5:30pm - 8pm AEDT

Event description

Menopause affects more than half the population directly — and every household, workplace and relationship indirectly. Yet most women say they weren't prepared, and many partners say, “I just didn’t know how to help.”

This community event is here to change that.

Join us for an empowering evening designed for:

  • Women navigating peri/menopause

  • Partners and supporters (yes — men are encouraged to attend!)

  • Employers and community advocates

  • Anyone ready to bring empathy, knowledge and connection to this conversation

Event Schedule

  • 5:30 pm - Arrival & Welcome Drink

  • 6:00 pm - Live Panel & Q&A

  • 7:00 pm - Film Screening: The M Factor

Live Panel & Q&A

Hear from leading voices in menopause health and community wellbeing:

  • Dr Nicole Avard — Co-founder & Medical Director, Metluma

  • Dr Gabrielle Staniforth — Local Orange GP and women’s health specialist

  • Krysti-Lee Patterson — Local Orange pharmacist

  • Moderator: Ben Chiarella — Health educator and male ally in the menopause conversation

Film Screening: The M Factor

After the panel, stay for a screening of The M Factor — the first documentary to call out the hidden cost of ignored menopause symptoms on women, relationships and workplaces. Includes popcorn and post-film conversation.
