Metropolitan Half-day Psychosocial Leadership Workshop for CCF WA Members
Description
CCF WA Members – Register now (limit of four per company*) for a free CTF-funded Psychosocial Leadership Workshop. Due to the success of our first round of workshops, we are holding a repeat Metropolitan Workshop for Members in Jandakot, and a North West Workshop in Karratha (date/venue TBC). This page is to book tickets for the Metropolitan Workshop on April 15, 2026.
The workshop is designed to equip leaders with the skills to identify, address and manage psychosocial risks in the construction environment. The training addresses workplace requirements for safe and effective workplace cultures and behaviours, including legal obligations to protect workers and provide a mentally healthy workplace.
Designed for leaders and small business owners, this program will explore:
Introduction to workplace mental health
Psychosocial factors that influence mental health and performance
Understanding our regulatory obligations and responsibilities to manage psychosocial risk
Psychosocial leadership as the first line of defence in managing psychosocial risk
Supportive leadership behaviours and an individual action plan
How to have early intervention conversations for psychosocial risk and compromised wellbeing
A practical case study
Self-care strategies for leaders
Support pathways
Psychosocial Leadership Workshops are fully funded by the Construction Training Fund and delivered by APS, a specialist psychological consultancy.
