Melbourne Furry Makers Market 2026

A one-day Market event in Melbourne Australia. Celebrating the furry community and giving creators the opportunity to share their creations!

The day is a market-only event to show off local talent and creators from around Australia.

What's a furry?

Be creative with something that isn’t human, but give them just as much personality! 
Most ‘Furry’ creations are based upon our love and fascination of animals, but you can experiment with monsters, dinosaurs, creatures or anything that sparks your imagination!

Ticket price?

With the move to the Melbourne Showgrounds, we've had to add a ticket price of $15 this year.
This is to help cover the larger venue hire costs, but also goes towards adding more aspects to the market.

Are costumes allowed?

Yes!

This year we are hoping to have a changing area also.

(However bulky or restricting costumes won't be allowed in the trade area).
And we ask they you remove any headwear before entering.

Are <18's allowed?

Sure are! Come explore what's on offer.
If you are under 16 you need to attend with a guardian.

Attending

The large pavilion and surrounding area at the showgrounds is open to the public and attendees. You will be required to purchase a ticket for access to the trade area.

Please bring an ID and your Ticker\QR code (send by email, or via the app).

The showgrounds is a large place and there may be other venues in use on the same day. Please me mindful of others while you're at the showgrounds, and around.

Parking

Parking is available at the showground for $25 (price may vary on the day). This is organised by the Showgrounds. We'll let you know if parking is expected to be full.
