Join Cornell Cooperative Extension and the Massachusetts Avenue Project for a three-day Master Food Preserver Training in Buffalo, NY.

The cost of this workshop is $350 per person.

We have a limited number of scholarships for individuals who need assistance. Scholarships are made possible through funding provided by the Western New York Foundation.

After you are registered, you will receive an email with instructions on how to pay for your registration or apply for a scholarship. Scholarships are reserved for those who meet income qualifications and intend to extend this knowledge to their communities, and awarded to those who meet the criteria on a first-come first-served basis.

Become a Certified Master Food Preserver

This intensive, hands-on training prepares participants to safely preserve food and share that knowledge with others in their communities. Participants will learn research-based food preservation methods, complete practical exercises, and take the certification exam required to become a New York State Master Food Preserver.
