Married couples can bring out the very best in each other and the very worst. And when life is full … well, staying connected can be a challenge. All relationships need time and space. But how do we maintain a warm alliance in the midst of a juggling act that might involve work, caring for children, caring for aged parents, church, exercise, domestic chores, health needs, the stresses of life?

This Spotlight session is an opportunity for anyone who is married to hear insights from the Bible and marriage research. It’s a chance to stop and take stock and think through how to reconnect deeply and meaningfully.

Keith and Sarah Condie have spent the last 25 years speaking and teaching couples about staying connected. They developed a marriage enrichment course, Building a Safe and Strong Marriage, that has been of benefit to many hundreds of couples. Together they co-direct the ADM Mental Health Institute.

Couples are encouraged to come to the Session together, where possible. If you can’t both attend in person, come on your own and watch the recording later with your spouse. Tickets are $25 per couple.

Speakers: Rev. Dr Keith Condie & Sarah Condie

Sarah and Keith Condie are the Co-Directors and Co-founders of the ADM Mental Health Institute. Sarah & Keith have been married for over 40 years and have led numerous workshops across Australia and overseas about marriage and mental wellbeing.

Sarah has been active in a range of ministries in Christian contexts, most recently as the Director of Wellbeing and Care at The Bridge Church, Sydney. Prior to serving in vocational ministry, she worked as a law librarian at the State Library of NSW.

Keith has degrees in psychology, theology and history. He has worked in child welfare for the state government as well as serving as an Assistant Minister in two churches in Sydney. For nearly 20 years, he was on the faculty of Moore Theological College as Dean of Students and Lecturer in Ministry and Church History.

Founded by Keith and Sarah Condie, the ADM Mental Health Institute exists to resource churches and Christian believers alike, so that we can all be better equipped to understand mental health and to serve and love others well. The Institute provides biblically and psychologically informed training and resources about mental health and healthy relationships for churches and individuals.
