The International Competition Programs are the backbone of the entire MIAF mission. Drawn from more than 2,000 submissions they showcase the best, most imaginative animating talent on the planet in a series of programs in which the only rule is diversity.
This program includes new films from some of MIAF’s best friends. Here is where you’ll see master Italian animator Simone Massi’s latest wonder, the Shakespearean infused film that Hannes Rall has been promising for some time, the latest quirky outing from Dutch trio Job, Joris & Marieke and a brand new piece of mind-bending animated moving art from Cassie Shao.
