Meet The Filmmaker:
The Hand Built Alternative Realities of Lachlan Plain
Lachlan Plain is a very hands-on animator. The films he makes are visceral examples of animation crafted out of real materials brought to life before our eyes. With narrative arcs eschewing anything remotely orthodox, the compelling, confounding worlds he creates channel the kind of parallel realities that only an animator can conjure. Lachlan will take us through his off-beat methods for creating his films and discuss how he imagines them up in the first place.
