MicDrop isn’t your average school holiday program.
Led by powerhouse vocalist Angela Librandi, MicDrop dives into real-world vocal skills, contemporary styles, and the confidence it takes to shine on stage (or anywhere, really). You’ll work on songs you actually like, experiment with harmonies, learn mic technique, and finish with a relaxed showcase for friends and fam.
No auditions. No daggy choir songs. Just a supportive space, good vibes, and the kind of tools that actually make a difference.
🎤 Learn pro-level vocal tools that work
🎶 Work on contemporary pop tunes with a sprinkle of musical theatre
đź’¬ Boost confidence + stage presence
👥 Connect with other music-loving teens
🎙 Wrap it all up with a chill mini-showcase

Day 1 – Voice Lab: Style and Sound
10:00am – 4:00pm
A hands-on masterclass in vocal style exploring tone, texture, riffs, runs, and harmonies. You’ll learn to use your voice like an instrument, experiment with different genres, and start shaping a sound that feels uniquely yours.
We’ll start with a relaxed, welcoming vibe and dive into what makes your voice special. You’ll:
Warm up with fun games and sing-alongs to shake off nerves
Build your “vocal toolbox” with technique + vocal health tips
Explore riffs, runs, textures and dynamics in pop + R&B styles
Try out sections of popular songs to practice your technique
Get personalised feedback from pro singer Angela Librandi
Rehearse harmonies and balance your sound in a group
Learn two complete group songs with options for solos
Finish with a relaxed showcase for family + friends
Day 2 – Performance Lab: Mic Mastery & Stagecraft
10:00am – 4:00pm
An interactive workshop on how to own the stage and use the microphone like a pro. Students discover mic technique, movement, body language, and audience connection. It’s about building confidence, expressing yourself authentically, and transforming nerves into energy.
Day two is all about bringing your skills to life on stage. You’ll:
Continue to build your “vocal toolbox”
Learn how to move and connect with an audience without feeling awkward
Master microphone technique + staging
Explore solos + group work (only if you want!)
Get personalised feedback from pro singer Angela Librandi
Learn two complete group songs with options for solos
Wrap up with a relaxed showcase for family + friends
💡 All songs will be taught on the day — so you’re totally welcome even if you didn’t attend Day 1.
🌟 Across the two days you’ll learn different songs: some as a big group, others in smaller clusters. The final performances feature 2–3 songs, with optional solo or harmony parts.

🍎 Happy Rosh Hashanah!
Just a quick heads-up — the first day of MicDrop (Wed 24 Sept) falls on the last day of Rosh Hashanah. We completely understand this may not work for some of our Jewish families and want to acknowledge and respect that. (We did our best to fit into the school holiday window!)
If that’s the case for you, you’re very welcome to join us just for Day 2 — Thursday 25 Sept. It’s a full day on its own, with plenty of great content, and a perfect way for kids to jump in and get the experience.
If the dates work for your child and you think they’d love it, we’d love to see them there. And if you’re celebrating — Shanah Tovah to you and your family 🧡
Hope to see some of your fabulous singers on the day!
🎶 Come find your voice, make new friends, and drop the mic.
