genuinely made me a better, more empathetic person."— Josh Cunningham – The Waifs...

Camille Trail
After showcases at Folk Alliance USA, Your Roots Are Showing in Ireland and some
Australian dates with Ash Grunwald, Camille has just completed her first U.K. tour.
There are some home truths from Camille Trail on her captivating new EP, magic trick,
wrapping up five examples of life smacking you in the face, for good and bad. Home
truths that couldn’t come any warmer: wrapped in melodic folk-pop, sung with intimacy
and openness, and wise. Not wise beyond her years, but because she’s learning
through those years. As Camille, whose first home truths came growing up in Baralaba,
west of Rockhampton, says, “I am comfortable now with having no idea what I’m doing,
because I know I’ll figure it out.” Three of the EP’s five songs were produced by Garrett
Kato, one by Shane Nicholson and one by Camille with Riley Catherall on one mic in one
night in Camille’s lounge room.
"River of Sins announces the 22-year-old Central Queensland singer-songwriter as one of the
nation’s most striking new voices” .
Andrew McMillen - The Australian
"It’s pretty obvious that the 22 year old Trail is something special – very special and of course, at
the end of the day it’s all about the songs – and Trail is a perceptive wordsmith."
Stuart Coupe – writer, broadcaster and Paul Kelly’s biographer
