Mickey O’Brien: "Postcards" Downunder Tour 2025

Rah! Records, Sydney’s premier underground hip hop label, are proud to be bringing

Canadian MC Mickey O’Brien to Brisbane’s It’s Still A Secret on Friday 14 February, 2025.

This is Mickey’s second tour of Australia, having first visited here in late 2023. After the last tour,

he has toured Canada, North America, Europe and the UK to support his latest EP, Post

Cards, gaining popularity and more fans with his raw, unfiltered experience of the working

class man in the modern world, expressed over a soundtrack of 90s era boom bap beats.

He speaks from visceral experience, by day working as a hard rock miner, literally exploring the

underground. At night, he’s an underground MC, simultaneously channelling a variety of

influences and predecessors to deliver hard-hitting raps that touch on class struggle, love, loss,

and the daily trials of life.

Mickey will be joined for the tour by powerhouse MC BigRedCap, underground hip hop

super-group, Beyond Dope and rising star, B.Raw, as well as local supports.
