Two Short Plays │ Live Music │ Local Talent
Join us Wednesday 23rd, Tuesday 29th of September or Sunday 4th of October at New Tricks in Albion for our first Micro Theatre event, an evening of storytelling and live music.
The program features two original short plays, both written and directed by a different local author and each running for approximately 20 minutes. Each play will be performed by a three-actor cast, creating focused, powerful performances alive on stage. Between the plays, enjoy a 20 minute intermission with live music while you explore and enjoy the lovely New Tricks venue with their food and beverage offerings.
Doors open at 6pm (show starts at 7pm), allowing you time to arrive early, settle in, and choose your preferred seat. From the moment you arrive, enjoy a relaxed pub-theatre setting... and don't stress about parking. Located in an industrial area there is plenty of parking nearby (Fox Street), making it easy and convenient for you.
Join us if you are looking for something different midweek. Micro Theatre offers a full evening of something different... local Queensland artists, writers, actors and musicians sharing one space to create a night of live, independent theatre. We hope you leave the space feeling inspired, connected and curious about theatre.
