Microbat Discovery Walk, Cubberla Creek Reserve

Join Melanie Venz and Jutta Godwin guides for a microbat discovery walk at Cubberla Creek Reserve. Learn about microbats and their needs whilst listening out for our insectivorous neighbours. Details are as follows:

• 8th April 2024, 6:00pm
• Cubberla Creek Reserve, Chapel Hill and Kenmore
• Meeting Point: park near playground off Sutling Street, Chapel Hill

Please wear enclosed shoes, bring a water bottle and torch.

We are grateful to Titley Scientific for their generous loan of bat detecting equipment which will allow us to ‘listen in’ on the echolocation calls of microbats and experience them visually via sonagrams.
