Event description

Join your guides for a microbat discovery walk at Woodward Place Park. Learn about microbats and their needs whilst listening out for our insectivorous neighbours. Details are as follows:

  • 14th April 2024, 6:00pm
  • Woodward Place Park, Pullenvale
  • Meeting Point: off Summerland Road, Pullenvale (park entry opp 19 and 39 Summerland Rd) to be reach via Woodward

Please wear enclosed shoes, bring a water bottle and torch.

We are grateful to Titley Scientific for their generous loan of bat detecting equipment which will allow us to ‘listen in’ on the echolocation calls of microbats and experience them visually via sonagrams.
