Microbat night walk and talk at Valley Reserve
Description
Come along and join us for an exciting night walk at Valley Reserve to identify microbats active in the reserve at night. The Deakin Uni bat research team will be there to talk about bats and help to identify species with their equipment. We will also be on the lookout for other nocturnal wildlife such as possums and sugar gliders. This night is suitable for families with children.
Bring a torch if you have one and we will provide some red cellophane to make the beam more wildlife-sensitive. If you have any other devices such as thermal cameras please bring them too. Wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.
Meet at the education hub to the south of the carpark.
