The founding of the Australian Mammal Society, southern hairy-nosed wombat sanctuary, and the River Murray International Dark Sky Reserve


Take a trip to where it all began, Brookfield Conservation Park in the Murraylands.  It was at Brookfield where the idea for the Australian Mammal Society was first born. Inspect the landscape of the southern hairy-nosed wombat and see some of the research which is currently being conducted. After a walk around the park, relax with a BBQ dinner, followed by a talk about the night sky and the world’s darkest Dark Sky Reserve.
