ABOUT THE FACILITATOR: Kristyn is a self-taught fibre artist based in Woodford in the Blue Mountains of NSW. She began working with the crafts of macramé and crochet as a hobby when her children were young and decided to launch her business, Consciously Crafted, during the COVID lockdown in 2020.
With a strong focus on sustainability, Kristyn sources the majority of
her materials second hand or made from recycled materials produced
ethically and sourced locally. Kristyn’s creations include macramé
rainbows, plant hangers, earrings, baby mobiles and other home and
nursery décor items. Kristyn now sells her items through several retail
stockists in the mountains and her online store.
