    WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

Jill Day Flow Yoga Workshop Adults
In this practice the group will explore 3 principles of movement: letting the breath move you; grounding; and moving from your centre. The more we can move this way the body feels free to release tension and let in expression and joy.

    Kid’s Yoga, ages 5-10 yrs
Sharing yoga with children is such a beautiful way to connect and share our connection to nature. Children will learn some tools for better focus and to deal with stress as the group plays. Participants will become different animals and parts of nature with our bodies.

    Pre-school Yoga, ages 2-5 yrs
Introducing children to yoga at this age is fun and plants the seeds for awareness of breath and caring for your body. Story and animals will be used to invite the children to learn yoga poses. It is great to practice with your child.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR: Jill Day has been teaching yoga since 2005. She teaches a flowing and fun class that explores the joy and freedom of linking breath and movement. Proper alignment helps us to free our bodies of unnecessary stress; to move with more efficiency and connection. Jill was certified to teach at YogaVidya Dham in Nasik, India and later at YogaWorks. She completed her YogaWorks Mentorship in Los Angeles before moving to Australia in 2009. Jill has been based in the Upper Mountains since 2009 and founded Living Day Yoga; sharing yoga with all ages. Jill also teaches Private Yoga Lessons, Corporate Yoga Lessons, and is available for special event
