Welcome to the 2023 Mid West Economic Summit
With rapid growth and many new opportunities on the horizon, it is an exciting time to be doing business in the Mid West.
The Mid West Chamber of Commerce and Industry is a Not-For Profit member led organisation and is the voice for businesses in the region.
Our purpose is to connect business with opportunities.
We are proud to host our bi-annual Economic Summits to recognise current economics in the Mid West and keep the business community up to date and informed with current trends and future forecasts.
This year’s theme, ‘Pathway to net zero’ is about transitioning the Mid West to becoming the epicentre of hydrogen and renewable related economy. This two day event will provide industry professionals with progressive discussions and authoritative speakers addressing current issues on the economic outlook and the industries that drive the Mid West region. The Summit will feature speakers from industries ranging from renewable energy, resources, manufacture, infrastructure, education, agriculture, aquaculture and tourism.
The Economic Summit is designed to facilitate vital networking opportunities between key players in the Mid West business community, government agencies and industry representatives.
The Economic Summit will have a range of tour options the day before it starts (29th May 2023) including tours of the Maritime Institute, a tour of the Mid West Ports, a day trip to the Abrolhos islands and ending the day with our Opening Dinner – an event where Chefs from the Mid West come together and create a menu to bring to you, ‘a taste of the Mid West’. The Summit will take place on Tuesday the 30th & Wednesday the 31st of May. A Business After Hours event will be held in the afternoon of Tuesday the 30th of May, providing an opportunity to network with local members and businesses.
