CACAO CEREMONY:

We start our day with setting intentions and connecting to our senses whilst sitting in ceremony with this ancient plant medicine.

Cacao is an absolute power house when it comes to nutrients as well as mental and physical benefits.

Essentially, it is pure and raw chocolate that has not been heat treated (like mass produced cocoa that is the main ingredient in chocolate) and therefore contains all of the health benefits of a whole food.

Additionally it works with the Heart Chakra and assists to open this energetic centre in the body, as well as being a natural vasodilator, helping to promote better circulation throughout the body.

BREATH:

In order to help us digest our Cacao, encourage further opening in the Heart Chakra (air is the element / lungs and heart the organs connected with this energetic centre) and clear and uplift our minds we will flow into a gentle but powerful practice of Pranayama (expansion of Prana through breath).

This is a breath practice suitable for all, but please do let us know if you have any underlying health conditions or are pregnant.

HATHA YOGA:

Now our minds and bodies are ready for some movement. Hatha is a more traditional style of physical Yoga where we do less and focus within more.

The Asana practice will be gentle yet strengthening and relaxing yet challenging.

Again, suitable for all - even if you have never done Yoga before.

LUNCH:

A nutritious, light but filling Ayurvedic Lunch will be served.

Vegan/Vegetarian.

YOGA NIDRA / YIN YOGA:

A short guided relaxation commences our afternoon programme.

Yin is a gentle style of physical Yoga where you are encouraged to completely surrender and allow the body to naturally stretch and unwind.

In this practice, we target the connective tissue within our bodies (tendons, ligaments, muscles and fascia) whereby relaxation is necessary in order to allow this system to release.

SOUND BATH:

The day concludes with a deeply relaxing Sound Bath using instruments including Tibetan Singing Bowls, Crystal Singing Bowls, Medicine Drum & more.

These instruments are attuned to specific frequencies and energetic centres within the body and will send you on a journey of deep relaxation and rejuvenation as well as having the potential to encourage visions, lucid dream-like states, clear thought & heal the physical body.
