Mid-winter swim and jetty jump

Plunge off the jetty into the icy waters of Governors Bay the weekend before winter solstice.

This ticket registers you for the event - there is a limit of 40 jumpers/swimmers for safety and space.

About the event:

* Sunday 16 June 2024, 11.30am to 1pm.

* Organised by Canterbury Open Water Swimming Association and Governors Bay Jetty Restoration Trust.

* The water will be VERY cold. Bring something to dry yourself and warm, dry clothes to put on afterwards.

* There will be a sausage sizzle on the jetty - bring cash.

* Please park up by the school and walk down to the jetty - parking at the jetty is needed for the organisers.
