Middle Leadership Essential Skills with Mark Osborne

The workshop will give middle leaders in schools a range of skills, tools and frameworks they need to be successful in their roles. Using a range of engaging, interactive activities, we will explore the middle leader’s role and how to balance management with leadership, developing an effective team; managing conflict in teams; engaging in professional conversations when the stakes are high; and developing internal accountability.

About the facilitator:

Dr. Mark Osborne is the Director of Leading Learning and has been a teacher, school leader, consultant, author and speaker for almost thirty years. He has a PhD from the University of Melbourne in how to lead change in education, and has worked with schools and school districts throughout Australasia, North American, Europe and Asia. Mark is particularly passionate about future-focused education, innovative learning environments and educational leadership.
