March with Little Dreamers at the Midsumma Pride March on Sunday 5 February!
What is the Pride March?
Midsumma Pride March is about affirming that we’re fabulous, and we’re loved, and we’re diverse and we’re proud. We march in solidarity for those who cannot.
Midsumma Pride March is one of the signature events of Midsumma Festival, where over 7,400 marchers take to the streets down Fitzroy Street in St Kilda each year and over 45,000 people line the streets and balconies along the march route to show their support.

When and where does it take place?
We will be meeting in St Kilda from 10.00am with the march beginning at 11am.
We'll march with ferocity, uniqueness, and pride down Fitzroy Street in the kilometre-long parade route to Catani Gardens. The march begins with the roaring motors of the Dykes on Bikes as per tradition. The march itself is led by the Boon Wurrung Elders, Rainbow Aboriginal Float, LGBTQIA+ youth and followed by the Premiere of Victoria, Minister for Equality, and the Creative Industries & Commissioner for Gender and Sexuality.
We’ll then be greeted at the end of the march with free entertainment, and festivities, including DJs and live performances by the iconic St Kilda beachside.
What is Little Dreamers' involvement?
Little Dreamers is marching to celebrate and show our support for the LGBTQIA+ community, in particular our Young Carers who identify as LGBTQIA+. We'll be bringing banners, flyers, flags, etc. for everyone in attendance representing Little Dreamers! Bring along your family and friends too!
We'll be marching with a range of organisations and community groups, and groups will be assembled together into sections called "waves" according to similar areas of interest or themes. We'll be given a place in the marching order and advised a time in the lead up to the event.
