Might & Mane Barber Shop at The Old Clare Hotel

In support of R U OK? Day (Thursday, September 12th) We are transforming our exhibition space, 'The Bottle Shop' (on Broadway) into a barbershop for one day only, with all proceeds supporting non-profit Might & Mane.

Might & Mane are a mental health support service in Sydney, schooling Aussie barbers on safe conversation and arming them with resources to help guide and encourage healthy conversation around mental stability with their clients. As many have experienced, the hairdresser's chair is a place where conversational barriers are broken down, with many opening up to their hairdresser about their life and how they are feeling. Might & Mane's support means that more Australian barbers are encouraged to start healthy dialogues with their customers, asking how they are doing, and then armed with touchpoints for referrals to seek help should they need it.

You can make a booking by purchasing a ticket for one of the allocated time slots between 12pm - 7pm.

If you're not due for a hair cut, you can still show your support by popping by The Clare Bar from 12pm onwards. 5% of all proceeds from the day will be donated to Might & Mane.
