MIGU. xhibit_3
Description
xhibit_3 presents a collection of works created through live painting experiences, shaped by the energy of music, JDM car culture, and vibrant community gatherings. Developed in dynamic public and shared spaces, these paintings capture fleeting moments in time, reflecting the atmosphere, movement, and connections that inspired them.
Migu’s practice is deeply informed by illustration culture, while also dabbling in graffiti, anime, and fine art styles. Drawing influence from the visual, musical, and creative elements of these worlds, his work embraces spontaneity and intuition. Through a flow-state approach to painting, he explores ideas that are personal, expressive, and driven by a sense of curiosity and joy.
Featured alongside Migu is illustrator and creative collaborator Jett Stanton. Having worked together across a number of recent live painting events, the pair share a commitment to experimentation and creative exchange. Their works highlight the immediacy of the artistic process and celebrate the unique energy that emerges when art is created in real time.
Together, the exhibition offers an immersive exploration of contemporary visual expression, inviting audiences to engage with the stories, influences, and experiences embedded within each piece.
The exhibition unfolds across two events:
July 4 — Opening Night (6pm–9pm)
July 5 — Open Air Jazz + Tea (1pm–3pm)
Guests can expect an atmosphere where visual art, music, and conversation intersect — featuring live performances, DJ sets, and ambient listening experiences.
Free entry. Original artworks and selected prints will be available for purchase throughout the exhibition.
