BEHIND THE GLITZ AND GLAMOUR; 'The Amazing Little Human Inspiring it All'
Now it is our honor to introduce to you the beautiful and brave little Milan. Six months ago at only 2.5 years old Milan was diagnosed with a rare form of T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. This diagnosis came suddenly and without warning, turning her family's world upside down in an instant.
Milan is a cheeky & fun-loving little girl who went from spending days playing, laughing, and discovering the world to facing hospital stays, enduring treatments, and repeated surgeries; all of the challenges that come with this diagnosis. She is now in the midst of a long and difficult journey, with intensive treatment expected to continue over the coming years. Already, there's been many tears and scary moments for Milan and her family, living through situations that have felt impossible to get through.
Though these times are testing they aren't all bad days either; the family do all they can to keep the laughter and smiles flowing and have remained positive through the ups and downs. Holding faith in one thing; a full recovery for Milan!
Milan's mum is a devoted sole parent on a single income & has had to step away from work indefinitely to be by her side every step of the way. As you can imagine, this places an enormous emotional and financial strain on the family during an already overwhelming time.
This is a family who are always the first to show up for others — offering support, kindness, and help whenever it’s needed, and asking nothing in return.
And so this is where this fundraiser was born, from a place of giving because we can. Its more than a Cabaret show; it's the opportunity to give back to a family that's already given so much. Its our chance to help Milan, to support her and cheer her on towards that victorious milestone of a full recovery and a joyous and happy life that every child deserves.

All proceeds raised on the night through raffle sales and the auction will go straight to Milan and her family, as will all moneys raised through ticket sales (minus the humanitix fee). There will also be a wishing well or something similar at the event if you wish to donate there.

FAQs
- Is it an all ages event?
No. This event is strictly 18+ only. So it's a night away from the kiddies!
Let the adults play!
(Under 25s may be asked to show ID.)
- Is it dog friendly?
Sorry that's a no. Your fur babies, feathery and scaly friends will have to sit this one out, stay home, and babysit the kids.
- Will there be parking available?
The pub has designated parking as well as a grass area across the road used for parking. There is also plenty of street parking.
- Is there public transport?
Woombye train station is just across the road. You can check the TransLink website or app to see train arrival and departure times. The event will be finishing around 1030pm which could past the last running trains so plan ahead and possibly seek alternative transport home.
The Woombye Pub does have a courtesy bus operating from 4pm and pickups are available in the following areas; Highworth, Rosemount, Nambour, Burnside, Coes Creek, Woombye,Kinda Park, West Woombye, Palmwoods and Forest Glen. Please phone 54 421155 for bookings and enquiries.
- Is it a BYO event?
Strictly no BYO. Drinks will be available all night at the bar with a free drink on arrival! Yippee!!
- Is food included with my ticket?
There will be snacks and tapas plates available for purchase on the night for the snackers and grazers. But if you're that hungry you could eat the arse out of a cow you're welcome to come dine at the pub before the show or we'll be having half hour intermission at 830pm where you can order a delicious meal from the kitchen (not included in ticket price).
- Is there ATMs available?
Yes there is an ATM available on premises. Cash will be preferred for things such as buying raffle tickets...or if you want to make it rain during the striptease 😉
CASH IS KING at this event and remember it's a fundraiser so all money generously given and raised on the night will go towards Milan and her journey through and victory over leukemia. We thank you so much 🙏
- What is the dress code?
Dress to impress! (Think cocktail attire)
- If I can't make it can I get a refund?
Unfortunately not. However you can resell (at price of purchase) or gift your ticket to a friend or family member as long as they have a copy of the ticket upon entry and are over the age of 18. (Please advise staff on entry if this has occurred)
- Is this a standing or seated event?
This is a seated event with tables so you can grab some snacks and a few bevvies, or a meal at intermission, get comfy and enjoy the show.
(First in gets best seats)
There will also be times where the music is pumping so you'll be encouraged (possibly even whipped, wrangled and prodded) to get your arsethe dance floor and shake your tail feathers!
- We have a big group, will we be seated together?
We'll do our best to accommodate your every need and desire. But depending on how many in your group, table configurations, and seating available when you arrive, your group may be split. We'll do our very best to avoid this but it may be a possibility.
