    Event description

The Science Collective is pleased to announce that our special brand of interactive science is coming to the Mildura Sporting Precinct on Sunday 25th February.  There will be a choice of two three-hour sessions on the day starting at 10.00am and 2.00pm  Each session will have amazing science shows, engaging displays and plenty of hands-on activities to keep young family members busy for the entire session.

Be entertained by EviroEDU's Wildlife Show, Fizzics Education's Liquid Nitrogen Show, Prof Flint's Dinosaur Show and SciFiBri's spectacular 'Fire and Froth' Show. The shows are complemented by a day of hands-on science fun with a Toddlers' Corner managed by the First People of the Millewa-Mallee Aboriginal Corporation (FPMMAC); a wildlife display by EnviroEDU; palaeontology adventures with Prof Flint; a 'fun with physics' activity with Fizzics Education; a chemistry display by Analytical Laboratories & Technical Services Australia (ALTSA); a popular electric circuit challenge; and several engaging science craft activities.

We know that with costs rising in many areas a day out with the family needs to be affordable.  So we have actually kept the cost of tickets low for this event with a family ticket available for just $32 (2 + 2 or 1 + 3) and all adults at the children's price of just $10.  Keeping entry fees this low has only been possible through the support of the FPMMAC, Olam Food Ingredients and the Mildura Rural City Council.

The Science Collective's only other event in Mildura last October was SOLD OUT very quickly so don't leave it until the last minute to book your tickets at www.thesciencecollective.com
