Milena Luna 'This Is Now' album Show

Rising from the ashes of the Mallacoota Bushfires, Milena Luna has created an intimate and poignant album. Highly-regarded creative talent Milena Luna is an award winning singer-songwriter, poet and author who lost her home, instruments, compositions and beloved parrots in the bushfires on New Year’s Eve 2019. Out of adversity, Milena has produced a heartfelt album, sharing her personal journey towards recovery. 

'This Is Now' showcases Milena’s considerable songwriting talents creating a stirring work. At its heart is the search for home and a never fading hope. 

Classically-trained Milena is a guitarist of rare talent, releasing several CDs of her original music and was awarded top ten finalist for her song ‘Mallacoota Time’ in the UK Songwriting  contest, semi-finalist in the UK international songwriting competition 2019 and finalist in 2022 in the World Songwriting Contest for Game’s Not Over. Mallacoota Time and Games Not Over were shortlisted for top 30 In the Australian Songwriting Contest 2022.  

Her newest album This Is Now features outstanding musicians  from Canberra, the South Coast, and Brisbane and is Milena’s finest work to date. 

Milena is proud to be able to launch her album to Brisbane audiences.
