After a celebrated premiere as part of NW4W Isolated Acts last June, Marcela, Emily, and Pedra return to the newly renovated Red Eye to continue their explorations of staged pointillism, assumed authority, and the erotic relationships among creation and consumption. Engaging Dance, Theater, Kink, Theory, and Sculpture, and in collaboration with Composer/Designer Brandon Anderson Musser and Lighting Designer snem DeSellier, this iterative work is part of an ongoing, expanding and contracting process.

Oh how nice, to just sit around and think of things.

Bite into a whole lemon and chew until you're gagging.

Smash an Advil into your head with the back of a tap shoe.

Cover yourself in lavender syrup and pink peppercorns and look from a different angle.

I know you long to feed, to be fed, to see, to be seen.

We work in the belly, and the Beast is hungry.

It’s fun to take turns sometimes.

The pigments are stronger if you mix them yourself.

The flavors are brighter if they come by surprise.

This work is intended for audiences over the age of 18.

This work has been developed with support from the Jerome Foundation, MOVO Space, and Red Eye Theater, and a text based iteration of the work is being published by 53rd State Press in 2026.
