Miller Street 'Pop-Up' Stakeholder Meetings
Event description
North Sydney Council has received funding under the NSW Government’s Streets as Shared Spaces (SaSS) program to implement temporary or ‘pop-up’ footpath widening and public space improvements on Miller Street, North Sydney from June to December 2021.
To achieve this, one of the existing traffic lanes on Miller Street (between pacific Highway and Berry Street) will be closed and incorporated into the left side of the footpath. This will also mean that motor vehicles will not be able to turn left onto Miller Street from Pacific Highway and all existing parking and loading zones along both sides of the road will be repurposed as footpath/public space areas.
The project will deliver addition pedestrian space, landscaping and placemaking interventions, and entertainment quarters.
Ahead of implementation of the Miller Street pop-up, Council is offering on-site meetings with neighbouring property owners/businesses to discuss any impacts and associated opportunities on Tuesday 27 April and Wednesday 28 April 2021.
If you would like to book in for a 30-minute meeting, you can do so by selecting 'Get Tickets' and selecting from available times.
