Millgrove Light Trail 2024

We welcome you to a FREE community experience like no other before!! 

LIGHT PROJECTION MAGIC IN MILLGROVE

You can book into one of 7 tours that commence every half an hour from 6:00 PM at the Millgrove Reserve. The walk is about 1.5 km long and numbers are limited in each tour.

Each tour takes about 45 minutes and finishes up at the Millgrove Shops.

Please check in with MRAG members about 10 minutes before your tour starts. MRAG will have clearly visible marquees set up opposite the Toilets.

Discover the mysteries and wonders of Millgrove, how it has grown and how it has changed over the past century all in a theatrical tour with light projections along local walking trails, including the Yarra River. From early settlers, the gravel pit, saw milling, animal grazing, to gold mining, schooling and housing, Millgrove's hidden gems will be revealed. 

Please dress in period costume to add to the experience. A Prize for best costume in each tour group will be awarded.

Notes:

• Free parking is available at the Millgrove Memorial Reserve, and closeby within easy walking distance
• Check in 10 minutes prior to your tour with your ticket to an MRAG member
• Dress up in period costume and wear sturdy shoes
