Event description
Learn how to use recycled copper wire and beads to create a beautiful Tree of Life. Rin will guide you through the copper recycling process and teach the basics of wire modelling, and then we will look to nature to inspire and help create our trees. They can be simple and tall, delicate and curved or filled with twists and turns.
Rin Bun is a multi-media artist and educator. They have been facilitating art/craft workshops since 2016. Their other passions are gardens and nature. Rin is a disability and neurodivergence aware and friendly facilitator.
What to Expect:
- This is an opportunity for adults to try a new art or craft with the support of a professional artist and educator.
- It will begin with a short mindfulness activity to get you in the creative flow.
- There is no expectation that you will bring anything except a willingness to "have a go"!
- All experience levels welcome.
- If you don't finish within the 2hours, you are welcome to take your work home to finish it
Post-Workshop Resources:
- Participants will be able to take hope supplies to complete their project if they require more time.
