Our Melbourne event series is an opportunity to come together to connect and create space for your mental health and well-being.

Our June event will be facilitated by Uplift Community and Restoring Wellness.


Topic: Men’s Health Week – Yoga, Breathwork, Connection & Meditation

(A spotlight on men’s wellness – open to all genders)

In celebration of Men’s Health Week, join us for a welcoming and inclusive workshop for all, centred around mental well-being, movement, and connection. Presented by Fischer and James from Uplift Community, along with Cian from Restoring Wellness, this event offers practical tools and shared experiences to support everyday mental health.​


The session will include:

  • Gentle yoga to reconnect with the body
  • Breathwork practices to calm the nervous system
  • Open conversation about mental health and daily habits
  • A calming guided meditation to close​ 

This is a safe and supportive space for everyone – with a spotlight on men’s health. Light refreshments and conversation will follow the session.​

Location: Level 4, 479 St Kilda Road Melbourne VIC 3004

Date: Tuesday 10 June 2025

Time: Please arrive from 6:45pm for a 7pm start, and finish at 8:30pm. Yoga mats will be available, bring your own blankets, warm clothes, drink bottles etc

Price: $35, Concession $25. (Please contact MMA for Concession code)

All funds raised will go directly towards Mind Medicine Australia, with 50% going to supporting advocacy efforts and 50% going to MMA’s Patient Support Fund.

James, Fischer and Charlie are the passionate team that launched Uplift Community with a focus on wellbeing and one of our most powerful tools to calm the body and mind, our breath. The young, dynamic and inspirational Uplift Community Team aim to normalise and educate Breathwork techniques for individuals to regulate their nervous system, improve the quality of their lives and their social capabilities.

Restoring Wellness is a holistic space that invites you to explore all parts of you, knowing your journey will be nurtured every step of the way. We believe in the continuous journey towards wellness and as such offer a variety of classes and opportunities

A little under 5 short years ago Cian’s journey towards becoming the healthiest, strongest and happiest version of himself began by immersing himself into the practice of yoga, in particular Yin. For a student at heart,  Cian’s classes and practice are aimed at disconnecting our minds from the outside world and reconnecting inwards to the person that matters the most - ourself. Through deep asanas (poses/holds) aligned with breathwork, his aim is to encourage students to become comfortable in the uncomfortable.
