Our Mindful Art (art & dementia) program, are intimate gatherings designed especially for those who are living with dementia. These sessions aim to provide a relaxed and normalised experience within a gallery setting.

Carers, and family members who care for someone who is living with dementia, are invited to join our Mindful Art sessions at the Gallery.

During a 2hr visit, Gallery staff and trained volunteers use artworks as prompts to stimulate and guide conversation. This is followed by a thoughtfully designed hands-on art-making activity and light refreshment.

FREE, bookings are essential as places are limited to small groups of six attendees (plus carers).

10am - 12pm | when booking, please book 1 place only as carers are included with the attendee.

Please note that the Gallery is climate controlled and quite cool. It is recommended for attendees to dress warmly for comfort when attending this program.

Parking can be busy surrounding the Gallery, please allow time to find a suitable park.
