Event description

We invite you to join us for a workshop on Mindful drawing, conducted by  Artist and designer Sarah  Halawani  on Saturday the 9th of January at 10:30 am in the Royal Botanic Gardens

If you have you always wanted to explore your creativity and are looking to try out a new mindfulness practice, then this event is just for you. Join Sarah to get centered, relaxed and draw in a space designed to calm your senses and go inwards.

This is a great way to let go of stresses and worries, and to bring focus to your mind through the exploration of color, shape and form. You’ll even be surprised at what you can create!

Bring along a Picnic blanket, materials that you like to work with - oil pastels, paper, diary. Paper and materials will be provided ( We will have some oil pastels, crayons, pencils and paper)

Please drop expectations of yourself - this will be a judgement-free and relaxing time for you. There is no requirement to be 'good at art' or drawing - anyone and everyone benefit from this workshop!

We will be meeting at 10;30 am in the Royal Botanic Gardens
