The Mindful Journey workshop will:

  • guide you through the development of your own unique mindfulness and meditation strategies for yourself and in your work or life situation
  • cover the definitions of mindfulness and meditation
  • offer you insights into the science supporting mindfulness and meditation
  • allow you time to experience and develop a range of different mindfulness and meditation practice

What is Mindful Journey about?

Mindful Journey aims to inspire individuals to develop a regular practice and to experience improved relationships, job satisfaction, and personal wellbeing through addressing stress, anxiety and worry.

Following these practices may have significant positive effects on a range of health, social and wellbeing outcomes, such as reductions in depression, anxiety, addiction, stress and chronic pain. Benefits include improved quality of life, relationships, compassion, attention and working memory. (Creswell, 2017)

Who will be guiding the Journey?

The six-week Mindful Journey is being overseen by Jean-Michel David, one of our managers and an experienced meditator. Some sessions may be lead by one of our other staff members or Lead Facilitator. In each case their knowledge and meditative experience reflects their professional standing within Mindful Meditation Australia

If you can no longer attend this event after you have registered, please email jean-michel@mindfulmeditationaustralia.org.au no later than one (1) week prior to the event to cancel.

If you register but fail to cancel one week in advance, no refund will apply
