Our Presenters
🔹 Venerable Bhikkhuni Bodhicitta is a Sri Lankan Theravada Buddhist Nun based in Melbourne and will teach Meditation as a tool to manage stress and lead a walking meditation session.
🔹 Tilsa Thomas will teach Laughing Yoga.
🔹 Pauline McKinnon is a Meares’ Stillness Meditation facilitator and will lead a stillness meditation session.
🔹 Anne Fan will facilitate a Meditation & Tai Chi Movement workshop.
🔹 Mirella Faulkner will lead a Yoga Practice workshop.
🔹 Rohan Parrant will be teach Wellbeing and Mindset.

Benefits of Mindfulness and Meditation
💙 Mindfulness trains your attention and awareness to achieve mental clarity and emotional calm.
💙 Meditation aims to reduce stress, anxiety, depression and pain, increase peace, perception, self-concept, and well-being. Presently, meditation is under research to define its possible psychological, neurological, and cardiovascular health effects.
💙 As you go about your day, you may start to notice that some things are better. Maybe you don’t get mad as quickly. Maybe you find your normal stress level has dropped.
(The Retreat is open to both beginners and advanced meditators)
This event is being held in partnership between the Women’s Federation for World Peace Australia (WFWP) and the International Centre for Inner Peace and Happiness (Nisala Arana), and it is supported by: Family Federation for World Peace and Unification (FFWPU).
